BR & CDM Principal Designer Organisational Capability

Establishing and demonstrating solid Organisational Capability to deliver the BR & CDM Principal Designer roles as a Tier 1 / tier 2 Contractor is an essential pre-requisite to accepting a PD appointment.

Client’s duty to ensure that those being appointed are Capable, have the resources and expertise to delier the role, and as such are obliged to request compelling evidence is provided by any orgnanisation being appointed to the role.

Having a clear policy, structure and mechanisms for delivery and reporting also mean that you can rest assured that the delivery of the role meets your own standards, legal team and insurer’s requirements, and that delivery of the service is consitent and effectively monitored across all proejcts.

Timeframes
and fees are to be agreed on a case by case basis and vary pending on the level
of inhouse resource that can be allocated to develop tools, templates, guidance
